Maine makes voting straightforward. Here is what you need to know to cast a ballot in Chelsea, Dresden, Pittston, or Randolph.

- General Election: Tuesday, November 3, 2026
- Voter registration: You can register in person up to and including Election Day at your town office. Online and mail registration deadlines are earlier. Register to vote.
- Absentee ballots: Any voter can request one, no excuse required. Request an absentee ballot.

Bring ID
Maine does not require voter ID at the polls. If you are registering on Election Day, bring proof of identity and residency (for example, a driver’s license and a recent utility bill).
